BELFAST – Mary (Burk) Bashier, 85, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at a local healthcare facility. She was predeceased by her husband, H. Arthur Bashier. She was born Jan. 7, 1921, in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of John and Mary (Nagle) Burke. Mary had worked in the office of Northern Chemical, Central Maine Power and the law office of Dick Glass. She is survived by a cousin, Janet Pigatt of Salt Lake City, Utah. There will be a memorial Mass 11 a.m. Friday, at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Court Street, Belfast. Burial will take place in the spring at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Winterport. Arrangements are under the care of the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
