CHARLESTON – Mary E. (Mellott) Merithew, 44, died Dec. 6, 2004, after a long illness. She was born Oct. 9, 1960, in Bangor the daughter of James and Almeda (Archer) Mellott Sr. Mary was a wonderful, caring, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Merithew; two loving sons, Walter H. Dunakin Jr., and Jeremy W. Dunakin and his wife, Sara Knowles; granddaughter, Cassandra R. Knowles; mother, Almeda Mellott; sister, Pauline Mellott; three brothers, Michael L. Mellott and his wife, Diane, David L. Mellott, and Daniel L. Mellott and his wife, Hatie; many nieces, nephews, special friends, and loving caretakers over the years. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed. She was predeceased by her father, James K. Mellott Sr.; and her brother, James K.
