SANGERVILLE – Mary I. Carleton, 84, died Jan. 8, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 6, 1922, in Sangerville, daughter of Fred and Abbie (Dulac) Clukey. She attended Sangerville schools and was a communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church, Sangerville. Mary enjoyed snowmobiling, playing cards, was an avid reader and enjoyed supporting her grandchildren and great-grand-children, in all their sporting events. For many years she worked at Guilford Woolen Mill, Guilford, until her retirement. She is survived by a son, Craig and his wife, Karen Carleton, of Texas; a daughter, Pamela Mabry of Hampden; three grandchildren, Shawn Mabry of Alaska, Michelle Kivler of Hermon and Casandra Peterson of Sangerville; three great-grandchildren, Kyle Kivler, Katie Kivler and Brandon Mabry; special cousins, Marie Robinson of Glenburn and Ardell “Red” Lovell of Sangerville. A time of celebration for family and friends will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, in the basement of Holy Family Catholic Church, Sangerville.
