HOWLAND – Mary “Jackie” Hatch, 81, wife of the late Charles W. Hatch, passed away Jan. 2, 2008, at her home. She was born Sept. 21, 1926, in Enfield, the daughter of Joseph and Arlene (Preble) Rollins. Jackie was a longtime member of West Enfield Church of God, and always enjoyed the fellowship she had with the members there. She is survived by five children, Millard and Cheryl Hatch of Seboeis, Brenda and Orman Jackson of Howland, the Rev. Kevin and Kathy Hatch of Houlton, Anthony and Shari Hatch of Bradley, and Joel Hatch of Howland; two sisters, Harriet Hesseltine of Passadumkeag and Clydie Batchelder of Howland; a special nephew, Michael Senna; 10 grandchildren, eight great-grand-children, many nieces and nephews, and many special friends. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a grandson, Scott Allen Hatch; brothers, Henry Rollins, Anthony Rollins and Orison Rollins; and sisters, Alma Crocker, Josephine Emerson and Joyce Osborne. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Angelia Fowler and the Rev. Kevin Hatch officiating. Spring interment will be at Town Line Hill Cemetery, Enfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to West Enfield Church of God Building Fund.
