CALAIS – Gloria Ann Waycott, 59, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, surrounded by family, at her home. Gloria was born April 22, 1948, in Upper Mills, New Brunswick, daughter of Joseph and Marion (Amon) McCray. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph McCray. Surviving are her mother, Marion McCray of Upper Mills, New Brunswick; four children, Joey Waycott of Clinton, Jason Waycott of Calais, Mark Waycott of Baileyville and Ericka Tracy of Calais; two sisters, Joanie Reynolds and her husband, David, of Upper Mills, New Brunswick, and Nancy Desjardins of Illinois; a brother, Danny McCray and his wife, Jackie, of Upper Mills, New Brunswick; four grandchildren, Madyson, Riley, Josie, and Savanah Waycott; many nieces and nephews, and many special friends. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Second Baptist Church, Church Street, Calais.
