BEACHWOOD, N.J. – Mary Jean (Bridges) Brooks, 75, died Sunday, July 16, 2006, at her home. Born in Bangor, she lived in Weilerbach, Germany for five years and then in Dover, N.H., before moving to Beachwood, N.J. in 1972. She was employed as a secretary for Beachwood Sewerage Authority for 12 years before her retirement in 1996. She was a communicant of St. Barnabas RC Church, Bayville, N.J. and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was master of her beloved cat, Tipper. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred J. Brooks in 1987; her brothers, Wilbur Bridges, Walter Bridges and Donald Moore; and her sister, Lucille Conover. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Sandra of Beachwood, N.J.; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Julianne and Joseph Huba of Beachwood, N.J., Jane and Mac Walling of Williamsburg, Va., Jean Brooks and Pete Fiorentino of Ortley Beach, N.J. and Jennifer and Dominick Roselli of Beachwood, N.J.; a brother, Robert Moore of Colorado; eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Adam and Joshua Huba, Samuel and Abigail Walling and Vito, Noelle and Aaron. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at “The Family Owned” Carmona-Bolen Home For Funerals, 412 Main St., Toms River, N.J. A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Barnabas RC Church, Bayville, N.J. Burial will be after the service at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River, N.J.
