DANFORTH – M. Louise Estabrook, 85, peacefully passed away Jan. 7, 2008, in Houlton, with her daughters by her side. She was born March 15, 1922, in Danforth, the daughter of Elmer and Pearl (Speight) Robinson. Louise’s days were filled with “Song;” she was rarely heard without one, the birds at her feeders; she could identify all, the joy of all that surrounded her; expressed through her beautifully written and published poetry, and her flowers in abundance; shared as a member of the Danforth Garden Club. She is survived by her devoted daughters and sons-in-law, Juanita and Carl Crone Sr. of Danforth, Maxine and Michael Todd of Hodgdon, Eileen and Ronald Richard of Springfield, Mass., and Christine and Randall Amero of Weston; a brother, John Robinson of East Corinth; a sister, Althea Casanova of Weston; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Roland Sr. and Theodore; and three sisters, Isabelle Ryan, Gloria Ezzio and Nellie Morton. At their request, a graveside service will be held in the spring for Louise and her beloved husband of 65 years, Payson, who predeceased her Dec. 31, 2005, where they will travel together “beyond the sunset.”
