BAR HARBOR – Mary “Pat” Margaret Young, 86, died Aug. 12, 2007, at a Bar Harbor health care facility. She was born Aug. 21, 1920, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of Ralph and Mildred Field. Pat is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gordon “Doc” S. Young Sr. of Bar Harbor; one son, Gordon S. Young Jr. and wife, Jean; one daughter, Suzanne Sylvia and partner, Jeff Wooster, all of Bar Harbor; her brother, John Field and wife, Darlene, of Cumberland; one sister, Betsy Doyle of Bar Harbor; one granddaughter, Jacqueline Smith and husband, Brian; one grandson, Shawn Young and wife, Cheryl; and two great-grandchildren, Addison and Finley Smith. At Pat’s request, memorial services will be private. Interment will be at Ledgelawn Cemetery, Bar Harbor.
