SANGERVILLE – Matilda H. “Tillie” Leonard, 87, died Aug. 22, 2005, at Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Jan. 27, 1918, in Dexter, the daughter of Henry and Cordilia (Reed) Wallace. She worked for Hardwood Products Company, in Guilford for 46 years, and was a member of Grace Bible Church, in Sangerville. She was an excellent mother, and grandmother, and was very devoted to her family. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Raymond and Andria Leonard of Dexter, and Sheldon and Joanne Leonard of Guilford; a daughter, Beverly Covey of Sangerville; a sister, Viola and her husband, Roland Kimball, of Florida; four grandchildren, Shelley Blockler of Sangerville, Catherine Hafner of Georgia, Jeffrey R. Leonard of Bangor, and Amy Colford of Hampden; eight great-grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth R. Leonard; a brother, Theodore Wallace; and two sisters, Alma Burns and Eva Bennett. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, Aug., 29, 2005, at the Village Cemetery, Sangerville, with the Rev.
