WILLISTON, VT – Matthew James Peacock (Rory A. O’Conner), 25, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, N.H., as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident. Matthew was born March 11, 1979 in Burlington, Vt., the son of Douglas A. and Linda Ann (Libby) Peacock. He experienced some troubled years and Matthew is now at peace with the Lord. He attended Trinity Baptist Schools and graduated in 1997. He sang solos in his church and played the violin. He attended Bob Jones University where he sang in the Performance Choir and he acted in several university plays. Matthew is survived by his parents, Douglas and Linda Peacock of Williston; his grandmother, Ruth Peacock of South Burlington; his aunts and uncles, Robert Peacock and his wife, Catherine, of South Burlington, Jackie and her husband, Tom Curley, of Fairfax, Kathy and Kevin Curley of Burlington, Joan Libby of North Carolina, Arthur Libby and Janet of Corinth, Andy Libby and his wife, Jodie, of Charleston, and Albert and Debbie Libby of Charleston; and many cousins. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004 in the Trinity Baptist Church, 300 Trinity Drive, Williston, with burial at 2:30 p.m. in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport. Visiting hours were held Tuesday, Nov. 23 at Corbin & Palmer Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Essex Junction.
