ROCKPORT – Maude B. Ralph, 95, passed away Friday, March 4, 2005 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, surrounded by her loving family. Maude was born, Jan. 18, 1910, in Waldoboro, a daughter of Fred and Lottie Graham Burns. In 1929, she married Harold C. Ralph, her beloved husband of 75 years. She traveled the harness racing circuit for many years; owning several standard bred horses with her husband. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and cooking for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family and family get togethers. She is predeceased by sons-in-law, Maynard H. Eugley and Richard A. Crabtree; sisters, Gertrude Ralph, Millicent Vannah and Shirley Winchenbach. Survivors include her husband, Harold of Waldoboro; sons, Ronald E. Ralph and his wife, Claire, of Waldoboro, Harold C. Ralph Jr., and companion, Alice Turner, of Waldoboro; daughter, Greta Crabtree of Waldoboro, Helen Eugley of Waldoboro; grandchildren, Rhonda Conway and her husband, Rody, of Waldoboro, R. Stephen Ralph and his wife, Kelly, of Union, Denise Gould and her husband, George, of Waldoboro, Harolyn York and her companion, Jeffrey Evangelos, of Friendship, Lori Wills of Largo, Fla.; 10 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Maude’s life will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2005, at the Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro, with the Rev. Robert Dorr officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Orff’s Corner Cemetery Association, 2918 Winslows Mills Road, Waldoboro, ME 04572 or to the Waldoboro Ambulance, P.O.
