BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Maurice “Moe” Dunton, 72, died Dec. 30, 2007, at Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center, Brooks-ville, Fla. He was born in Carmel, and moved to Brooksville, Fla., in 2000 from Howland. He was an auto body repairman and painter, and worked for Thornton Bros., Lincoln. He was a groundskeeper for Heritage Pines Community, Hudson, Fla., for the past eight years. He was past president in 1996 and 1997 of Fraternal Order of Eagles 4342, Lincoln, and was a member of the Pool Club of Frontier Park, Brooksville, Fla. He was the beloved husband of Sherry. He is also survived by his sons, Robbie Dunton of Carmel and Ryan Dunton of Hartland; stepsons, Philip Morse, Darrell Smith and Guy Smith of Maine; stepdaughters, Donnette Cameron of Maine and Pat Seeley of North Carolina; sister, Alice Gardener of Carmel; special nephew, Willie Dunton and his wife, Cheryl, of Carmel; several grandchildren; in-laws, Joe and Peggy Wickett of Hernando, Fla.; and his special friends, Mim Hanna and Sassy.
