EAST MACHIAS – Mavis A. Landeen, 67, went to be with the Lord Oct. 27, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born May 25, 1940, in Cutler, the daughter of Raymond and Gertie (Davidson) Dennison. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, bingo and especially spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Harold Landeen of East Machias; three children, Dale and Lee, Louisa and Luke, and Rita and Oscar; nine grandchildren, Trudy and Ronnie, Heidi and Ryan, Justin, Heath, Kandi, Corey, Kyle, Kristen, Brandon and Emily; two great-grandchildren, Josie and PJ; six brothers and sisters, Fred, Joyce, MaryAnn, Albert, Wayne and Freda, sister-in-law Helen “Bim”; many special friends including, Rosie and Mary Stuart, Mary Beth and Tyler Pottle. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Mark Landeen. Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Cooper Street, Machias. A graveside service will be celebrated 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Cutler Cemetery, Cutler. Donations may be sent to Harold Landeen, 390 Hadley Lake Road, East Machias, ME 04630.
