EAST MACHIAS – Megan Faith Schors, infant daughter of Sam and Wendy Schors, passed away peacefully Nov. 16, 2005. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Jacob; her identical twin sister, MacKenzie, whose life would not be possible if not for the strength of Megan; maternal grandmother, Margaret Fernald of Cherryfield; paternal grandparents, Jane and Glenn Spencer of Machias; great-grandmother, Philena Spencer of Machias; uncles and aunts, Christopher Schors of Lynchburg, Va., Stephen Fernald and wife, Jennifer, of Brewer, Susan Ryan and husband, Gordon, of Albany, N.Y.; and cousins, Nicholas, Hunter and Abigail; and many other great- aunts and great-uncles. She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Keith Fernald and Harry Schors. At this time, there will be no services. Memorial contributions in Megan’s name may be made to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, at Eastern Maine Medical Center-Rosen NICU, care of Tina Gist, 489 State St., Bangor, ME 04401. Megan’s short life has taught us that it is not how long the flower blooms, but how beautifully. We will never forget our sweet baby.
