LINCOLN – Melba A. Gerry, 87, wife of the late Floyd J. Gerry, died Oct. 18, 2007. She was born Nov. 20, 1919, in Corinna, the daughter of Harold B. and Mary (Odell) Greenwood. She graduated from Corinna Union Academy. Melba was a member of Lincoln Congregational Church and past member of Pilgrim Daughters. She is survived by one daughter, Ann Dusenbery and her husband, Henry, of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Valerie Pettit and her husband, James, of Alpheretta, Ga., Mary Thompson and her husband, Matthew, of Portland, Linda Greenlaw and her husband, Brian, of Skowhegan and Ernest Coolong of Golden, Colo.; three great-grand-children, William and Mallory Pettit of Alpheretta, Ga., and Grace Greenlaw of Skowhegan; several cousins, nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Grace Stevens and Harland, Clayton Gerry and Phyllis, Harold Gerry, and Faye Darling. Friends may call 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Graveside service will be held 3:30 p.m. at Lincoln Cemetery with the Rev. Darrell Joiner officiating.
