WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. – Mr. Robinson died Friday, April 15, 2006. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Ellery and Eleanor Brett Robinson. He was a graduate of Bentley College and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He retired as vice-president of finance for Frasier Paper Company in Madawaska. Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Emery Robinson; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jeffrey Vowles of Irmo, S.C.; and grandchildren, Ashlee and Brett Vowles of Columbia, S.C. A memorial service for Melvin Brett “Robbie” Robinson will be held 3 p.m. Monday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, Columbia, S.C. Memorials may be made to Lisbon High School, Lisbon Falls.
