BILLINGS, Okla. – Merrill Page Richardson Jr., 70, died July 21, 2006. He was born July 4, 1936, in Bangor, the son of Merrill Page Richardson and Nettie Mable (Edwards) Richardson. Merrill grew up in Bangor, where he graduated, and then joined the Army, where he was a master sargent and engineer, serving a tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. He retired from the military after many years of service. Merrill and his lovely wife, Elizabeth Sweetman of England, moved to Billings, Okla. in 1999. Merrill and Elizabeth raised a lovely family. He is survived by two daughters, Lynda M. Larsen of Topeka, Kan. and Christina Townsend of Tulsa, Okla.; three sons, Merrill Page Richardson III of Topeka, Kan., Jeffrey M. Richardson of Wamego, Kan. and Steven P. Richardson of Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Edward Richardson of Orrington and Robert Richardson of Durham, N.C. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth; granddaughter; two brothers; and his parents. Love and prayers are extended to all family members. We will miss you, Uncle Buz. A private family service was held Wednesday, July 26, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Chapel, Enid, Okla.
