MILFORD – Michael Anthony Luce, 47, went home to be with his loving Lord April 7, 2008, with his loving family by his side. He was born Oct. 25, 1960, the son of Belmont and Evelyn (Dupuis) Luce. He was a member of United Baptist Church of Old Town. He was a graduate of Old Town High School and Eastern Maine Community College, Bangor. He served his country in the U.S. Army as an M-16 rifle marksman and received a Good Conduct Medal and an Army Commendation Medal. He also received an Army Service Ribbon and an Overseas Service Ribbon. Michael loved spending time with his family going snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, gardening and cooking. Mike was a man of humility and absolute integrity, a genuine and loving friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carla (Hilton) Luce of Milford; and his beloved daughter, Kyra Luce. He is also survived by two sisters, Roxann Bennett and husband, Reginald, of Old Town, and Linda Duquette and husband, Wilfred, of Dixmont; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Belmont and Evelyn Luce. The family wishes to give a special thank you to all the family and friends for all the support they received throughout his long illness. Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Visiting hours will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with a memorial service 7 p.m. with Pastor Bruce Stevens officiating.
