ORRINGTON – Michael B. Boyce, 59, died Dec. 20, 2006, unexpectedly at his home. He was born April 26, 1947, in Norway, the son of Bruce and Isabel (Kimball) Boyce. Mike served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was wounded during his tour of duty. He enjoyed NASCAR and playing golf. Mike is survived by his wife of 20 years, Judy (Bridgham) Boyce of Orrington; one daughter and her husband, Jennifer and Colby Tripp of Oxford; one stepdaughter and her husband, Beth and Gary Gray of Orrington; two sons, Chris Boyce of Waterford and Braden Boyce of South Paris; one brother and his wife, Kimball Boyce and Vickie of South Paris; six grandchildren, Tyler, Travis, Olivia Tripp, Kalob, Kourtney and Koty Boyce; his special friend, Ralph Brown of Ellsworth; and his very special cats, Buster and Digger. He was predeceased by his father; his sister, Muriel; and his brother, Bradley Boyce. The family invites relatives and friends to a memorial reception 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, to share conversation and refreshments at Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor.
