BANGOR – Michael Gordon McNally, 54, died April 16, 2004, at his home in Bangor. He was born Dec. 20, 1949, in Biddeford, the son of John C. and Julia A. (Plourde) McNally. Michael attended Bangor schools and was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army and the recipient of numerous certificates of achievement. Surviving in addition to his father, John C. McNally of Bangor are a special aunt, Mary “Mom” of Bangor; a loving companion, Debbie LaHaye of Bangor; two sons, Michael McNally of Bangor, John R. McNally and his companion, Janice, of Walkertown, N.C.; one brother, Richard McNally of Bangor; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Julia; a sister, Rosemarie DuPrey; and a special cousin, James Sickles Jr. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, pastor of St. John’s Catholic Church, officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
