ADDISON – Michael L. Jordan, 31, was set free Aug. 13, 2006. Michael was born Nov. 22, 1974, in Blue Hill, to the loving parents of Lloyd and Betty (Wainwright) Jordan. Michael also had a loving sister, Emily A. Jordan who was set free May 24, 2001. He was a graduate of Narraguagus High School in 1993. He attended the University of Maine at Orono studying engineering. But Michael’s true love was for the sea and lobster fishing. He and his dad turned an old wooden boat into a beautiful fishing vessel named the “Jordon Lee.” He enjoyed making things with his hands and working hard. He leaves behind his wife and friend, Robin (Perry) Jordan; three stepchildren, who he loved very much, Jonathan, Katie and Jordon Haycock; a granddaughter, Ani Maratta; maternal grandparents, Ted and Norma Wainwright of South Portland; several aunts and uncles, Linda and William Mullin of South Portland, Brad and Noreen Jordan of South Carolina and David and Linda Wainwright; many cousins and special friends, Daniel Kane, Jeff Strout, Sterling Paul, Roger Mathews, who he loved dearly, and many other friends and family. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, C. Richard and Anna Jordan; and an aunt, Jo-Anne Wainwright. Michael will be laid to rest with his sister, Emily, 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at the Church Hill Cemetery, Addison. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
