PRESQUE ISLE – Michael N. Bradley, 44, died peacefully Nov. 27, 2004, at his home with his family by his side. He was born Nov. 2, 1960, in Presque Isle the son of Gloria Grant and the late Vincent Grant. He graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1980. Mike was a volunteer for the Presque Isle Fire Department at an early age of 17. In 1985, he became a full time employee as a dispatcher, in 1988, a fire fighter and then in 1991, a 1st driver. He took pride in working outside in his flower gardens. He was a member of the Presque Isle Lodge of Elks No. 1954. Surviving him in addition to his mother of Presque Isle; is a son, James Michael Bradley of Fort Fairfield; a sister, Karla (Bradley) Beaver and her husband, Gary, of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother, Terrence Grant and his wife, Kimberly, of Presque Isle; his maternal grandmother, Lois Ferguson of Presque Isle, three nephews; Christopher Beaver and his wife, Whitney, of Quantico, Va., Andrew Beaver of Fort Worth, Texas, Devin Grant of Presque Isle; and one niece, Meagan Grant of Presque Isle; and a great-aunt, Louise Gibson of Presque Isle. A graveside memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Fairmount Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Kavanaugh officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Maine Division, 1 Main St. Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
