BANGOR – Michael Wayne Conners, 47, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 3, 2006. A lifelong resident of Bangor, he was born Dec. 8, 1958. He graduated from Bangor High School and the University of Maine, and later became an audiologist. Mike owned Pinestate Hearing Aid Co. and was known in the area for his radio and television advertisements. He is survived by his beloved son, Michael Wayne Conners Jr. of Bangor; his mother, Marie Conners of Purchase, N.Y.; two sisters, Pamela Conners of Cleveland and Nancy Tokarz of Purchase, N.Y. Mike was predeceased by his father, Stanley Michael Conners Jr. in January. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Ohio Street, Bangor. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith Family Center, 163 Center St., Bangor, after the burial.
