CORINNA – Mildred A. Newcomb, 73, died Feb. 11, 2005, at a Waterville hospital. She was born June 4, 1931, a daughter of Joseph and Florence (Hardy) Allard. She was a mother and a homemaker and spent several years working in area potato harvesting. She is survived by a son, Harold “Bub” J. Newcomb; and a daughter Linda Carmichael, both of St. Albans; a brother, Philip Allard of Hermon; a sister, Edna Jeanette Tourville of Conway, N.H.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jo-Ann Knowlton; and a brother, Ernest Allard. Services will be private. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna.
