FORT KENT – Mildred (Belanger) Charette, 75, died Feb. 6, 2007, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born Aug. 29, 1931, in Wallagrass, the daughter of Servere and Amelia (Marin) Belanger. Mildred worked for the Travelers Insurance Co., until her retirement and moved back to Fort Kent in 1995. She was a member of the East Hartford Moose Club, the Bristol Old Time Fiddlers Club and a past member of the St. Rose Catholic Church. Mildred was predeceased by her husband, Herman in 2003. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce Charette and his wife, Katherine, of Bristol, Conn., and Brian Charette and his wife, Rosealia, of Waterbury, Conn.; two nieces, Rita Boisvert of East Hartford, Conn., and Emily Pelletier of Bristol, Conn. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday until time of service at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church. Spring burial will be held May 11.
