BLUE HILL – Mildred L. Gray, 90, died Oct. 30, 2004, at a Blue Hill hospital. She was born March 10, 1914, in Sedgwick the daughter of Linwood W. and Cora (Carter) Leighton. Mildred was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She worked for many years for summer families as a housekeeper. She was a member of the Blue Hill Baptist Church and the Mountain Rebekah Lodge No. 87 of Blue Hill. She enjoyed animals especially cats and birds. She is survived by three sons, Robert W. Gray and wife, Kathy E., Donald E. Gray and wife, Patricia C., and Duane B. Gray and wife, Susan B.; one sister, Anna McGraw, all of Blue Hill; 11 grandchildren, Tom Gray and wife, Sharon, of Holden, John Gray and wife, Nicole, of Sedgwick, Jim Gray and fianc?e, Cat Schwenk, of Freeport, Larry Gray and wife, Carol, of Bucksport, William Gray, Danny Gray and wife, Lindley, Greg Gray, Melanie Gray, Adam Gray and wife, Candace, Annemarie Napolitano, and Andrew Gray, all of Blue Hill; two great-grandchildren, Tiffany and Joshua Gray. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Warren A. Gray who died July 27, 2000; and a sister Hazel Gray. Graveside Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at Mountain View Cemetery, Blue Hill with the Rev. Rob McCall presiding.
