BAR HARBOR – Miles Edward Mann, 90, passed away Aug. 8, 2007. He was born Jan. 26, 1917, in Bangor, the son of Charles E. and Margaret I. (Eaton) Mann. Miles was a World War II Army veteran. He lived most of his life in Stafford, Ariz., before moving here to live with his niece, Roberta L. Cummings and family. He was predeceased by his parents; and sisters, Millie Perkins and Virgie Kinkaid. He is survived by a very special niece, Roberta L. and husband, Russell; two great-nieces, Sabrina and Ashley; great-nephew, Ben Cummings, all of Bar Harbor; his nephews, Clyde S. Mann of Bar Harbor and Gerald E. and his wife, Susan Mann, of Ellsworth; along with many other nieces and nephews. There will be no memorial service.
