WASHBURN- Miles Easler, 91, died Dec. 2, 2004, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born March 10, 1913, in Washburn, the son of Roy and Myrtle (Belmain) Easler. Miles worked at the A&P potato house in Presque Isle for several years, as well as being a self-employed pulp cutter. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by six sons, Duane “Alfred”, Gerald, Roger, Harold, Dale, and Earl Scott Easler; five daughters, Lavina Corey, Janice Brooks, Mary Easler, Beth Thibodeau and Margaret Hartsgrove; 30 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and two great- great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Helen; he was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Howlett; and two sons, Willard and Arthur Easler. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Greg Moody officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Crouseville Cemetery.
