WADE – Milford C. White, 82, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at his residence. He was born Aug. 28, 1924, in Washburn, the son of William Sr. and Elizabeth (Doherty) White. Milford grew up in Wade, farmed in the Washburn area all of his life and he enjoyed his trips to Florida. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an attendee of Washburn Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Glenna (Conley) Levesque White of Wade; three children, Brenda Helton of Wade, Mavis Rose and Sterling “Butch” Levesque, both of Washburn; two brothers, Bernard of Mars Hill and William Jr. of Washburn; two sisters; Shirley Brown of Caribou and Geraldine Turnbull of Mascoutah, Ill., 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Milford was predeceased by four brothers, Eugene, Maurice, Alden and Malcolm; and two sisters, Gwendolyn Drost and Phyllis Day. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Washburn Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Bruce Blakney officiating.
