HANCOCK – Milton W. Stratton, 73, passed away May 8, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 22, 1932, in Hancock, the son of John and Nola (Frye) Stratton. Milton served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed going up North on fishing trips. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara; a son, Steven and wife, Kelly, of Glenburn; daughters, Terri McKinley and husband, Craig, of Hancock, Kellie Stratton Hoag and husband, Stephen, of Cape Neddick; grandchildren, Joshua and Elisha; a brother, James Stratton and wife, Jean, of East Windsor, Conn.; and a sister, Marjorie Harm and husband, Fred, of St. John’s, S. C. He was predeceased by his parents; and a son, Roger in 1972. Calling hours will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 12.
