OLD TOWN – Shirley Helen Patterson, 67, died May 9, 2005, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 7, 1937, pre-deceased by her parents, Albert and Frances Hewett. Shirley was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her children and spending her free time playing cards with her sisters. Shirley is survived by her husband of 48 years, Arthur Patterson; brother and sisters, Carole, Barbara, Robert, and Margaret; four children, Tom, Carole, Missy, and Kelly; nine grandchildren, Jamie, Cory, Veronica, Miranda, Sarah, Jacob, Joshua, Kenny, and Colby; two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Evan. There will be a graveside service only, 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2005, at the Evergreen Cemetery, Boynton Street, Bradley. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to the Leukemia Foundation.
