BANGOR – Miriam Kagan, 72, died Feb. 7, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1932, in Bangor, the daughter of Moris and Freda (Zytaner) Kagan. Miriam is survived by a loving brother, Harry Kagan and his wife, Grace, of Silver Spring, Md.; beloved nephew, William Oppenheim MD, and his wife, Patricia, of Marina Delrey, Calif., Kenneth Oppenheim DDS of Allen Town, Pa., and James Oppenheim of Laurel, Md.; and great-niece and great-nephews, Kyle, Scott and Jennifer Oppenheim. A funeral service will be held 12 noon Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at the Jewish Chapel, 118 Center St., Bangor, with Rabbi David Cantor, officiating. A service of Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
