STARKS – Mona Ayotte Gagnon, 76, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 8, 2006, at her Gilmore Road home. She was born July 21, 1930, in Van Buren, a daughter of the late Oneil and Martha (Roy) Ayotte. Mrs. Gagnon was a graduate of Van Buren District High School, Class of 1949. On Oct. 21, 1950, she married Daniel L. Gagnon in Van Buren. In addition to her husband of more than 56 years, Mrs. Gagnon is survived by two sons, Mark Gagnon and his wife, Denise, of Anchorage, Alaska, Greg Gagnon and his wife, Colleen, of Glenburn; two daughters, Donna Mann and her husband, Jim, of New Sharon, Zale Lochala and her husband, Chuck, of New Sharon; seven grandchildren; six siblings, Laurie Rodrique, of Port Charlotte, Fla., Alyre Ayotte and his wife, Antoinette, of Van Buren, Clarence Ayotte of Laconia, N.H., Bertrand Ayotte and his wife, Jeannine, of Augusta, Dominique Ayotte of Sarasota, Fla., Danny Ayotte of Augusta. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gagnon was predeceased by four siblings, Mildred Charette, Francine Boucher, Jeannette Coe and Alphedore Ayotte Services will be held at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the direction of Western Mountains Cremation and Funeral Service, Farmington. Should friends so desire, donations may be made in Mrs. Gagnon’s memory to Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, 284 Main St., Wilton, ME 04294, with special thanks to hospice nurse, Marie Hupper.
