BREWER – Mona E. Ladd, 95, died Jan. 16, 2005, at a local nursing home. She was born March 24, 1909, in Bancroft, the daughter of Miles and Ruby (Cox) Cropley. Mona was a member of the Pythian Sisters, Brewer, the Milwee Chapter No. 198 OES, Orrington and the Rebekahs. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph E. Ladd; and a son, David Ladd. Surviving are her children, Edward Ladd and his wife, Rae, Dana Ladd and his wife, Irene, Judith L. Roundy, Alan Ladd and his wife, Lee, Alden and his wife, Eunice and James Ladd; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and her half sister, Adelia R. Peck. At her request there will be no services. Burial will be in the spring at Maple Grove Cemetery, Prospect. For those who wish memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
