ELLSWORTH – Mona Ladd Shea, 85, died May 27, 2005, at a Deer Isle healthcare facility. She was born Sept. 23, 1919, in Brooksville, the daughter of Arthur E. and Mina (Robinson) Ladd. Mona was married to John B. Shea for 45 years before his death in 1986. She lived her adult life in Ellsworth. She is survived by her son, John Shea and wife, Donna, of Ellsworth. She was predeceased by her parents and four sisters. Friends are invited to call 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at the Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth with the Rev. Reginald Clark presiding.
