CORINNA and GAHANNA, Ohio – Muriel Annie (Bryson) Robinson’s prayer was answered Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, when God called her home and reunited her with her beloved husband of 64 years, Glendon Alton Robinson. Muriel was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Corinna, the daughter of Michael and Cecile (Whittaker) Bryson. Muriel was active for many years in her husband’s automotive and truck dealership in Corinna. In later years, she was a successful antique dealer at her husband’s former business facility. She is survived by her three children, son, Sherwood “Chuck” Robinson and his wife, Jane, of Laurel, Long Island, N.Y., daughter, Diane Vorys and her husband, Jay, of Gahanna, Ohio, and son, Glendon “Tink” Robinson of Edmond, Okla.; five grandchildren and two great-grand-children; five sisters, Arline Ireland, Lurene Parker, Shirley Brodeur, Audrey Gudroe and Emilie Gould; and one brother, Merle Bryson, all of whom reside in Maine. She will also be remembered by a beloved brother-in-law, Donald Robinson of New Orleans. She was predeceased by one sister and two brothers, Iris Tuttle, Owen Bryson and Allen Bryson. The family extends sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of Sunrise of Gahanna, Ohio, for the unsurpassed care given to their mother. Graveside services are private.
