PERRY – Myra Ellen (Trott) Small Perry, 83, passed away peacefully April 14, 2005, at an Eastport nursing home. She was born May 19, 1921, in Perry, the daughter of Harry and Ada (McPhail) Trott. Myra worked hard her whole life taking care of others. She made wreaths yearly and was employed with the Mearl Corp., and Guilford Industries for many years. Myra was predeceased by her husband, Harry Small Sr.; stepsons, Horace and Mariner “Toe” Small. She is survived by one son, Harry Small Jr. and wife, Pricilla, of Pembroke; daughter, Rose Marie Lavelle and husband, Robert, of Claremont N.C.; daughter, Ethel Hall and husband, Edgar, of Machias; a very special stepdaughter, Jeanette Trott of Perry; one brother, Shirl Trott Sr. and wife, Marilyn; sisters, Ruth Gove of Perry, and Edna Avery of Ellsworth; five very special grandchildren who were dear to her heart, Mary, Sheila, Vicki, Loring and Polly, also several other grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday April 15, 2005, at the Flagg Funeral Home in Eastport, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005. Interment will be in the Robbinston Ridge Cemetery. Donations in Myra’s memory may be made to the Eastport Memorial Nursing Home.
