CALAIS – William R. Prussia died April 13, 2005, at Atlantic Rehab in Calais. Bob was born June 14, 1930, in Hartford, Conn., the son of John J. Prussia and Margaret (Hayes) Prussia. Bob is survived by his wife, Norma Prussia of Atlantic Rehab; a brother, Don Prussia of St. Louis, Mo.; and a stepson, William Brown and his wife, Cheryl, of Calais; stepgrandchildren, Joann Brown and fianc?, Stanley Kulish of Ellsworth and Christopher Brown of Bangor; many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, James Prussia. Bob served in the U.S. Marines from 1948 to 1952 in Korea. He was honorably discharged and returned to Hartford, where he worked for Chandler Evans until he retired in 1992. Bob was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. At Bob’s request, there will be no services. Donations in Bob’s memory may be sent to St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Calais.
