CARIBOU and DANFORTH – Myrna Elaine McDonald, 65, died Nov. 4, 2003, at a Bangor hospital following a short illness. She was born Sept. 17, 1938, in Caribou, the daughter of Charles H. and Florence (LaPointe) Paul. She graduated from Caribou High school, Class of 1955. Myrna was a loving and devoted mother and friend. She cared for her mother, Florence, in her final years. Myrna was a former employee of the Cary Memorial Hospital in Caribou, in the late ’70s early ’80s. Myrna was also a longtime resident of Patten where she owned and operated M&M Taxidermy. She is survived by two daughters, Paula Sue Tanner of Cushing, Okla., and Kathy Hurd of South Paris; one son, Tony Reyes of Lewiston; three sisters, Cora (Paul) Gibson of Stow, Ohio; Ruth (Paul) Hanington of Danforth and Debra (Paul) Anderson of Springvale; four grandchildren, Joshua Adam Tanner, Amber Elaine Tanner, both of Cushing, Okla., Ed Herrmann of West Paris and Cherith Rose Reyes of South Paris; five nieces, Angela Pouliot, Nancy Godin, Pamela Theriault, Kimberly Flint and Roxanne Gorham; four nephews, Shane Anderson, Charles Gibson, Donald Theriault and Kevin Theriault. Friends may call 12 noon Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, until time of services at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Mockler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Root, officiating. Interment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
