SCARBOROUGH – Myrtle E. Neal, 81, of Ballantyne Drive, died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at her home after a short illness. Her family and faithful dog, Cameron, were at her side. She was the wife of the late Milo C. Neal, who passed away July 4, 2006. She was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Malden, Mass., the daughter of Perley George and Elsie Ellis MacLean, and attended Malden Schools. She graduated from Malden High School in 1943 and trained to be a medical technologist with a specialty in phlebotomy. She married Milo Neal, Sept. 9, 1945, and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2005. She was a member of the West Falmouth Baptist Church for the last 25 years. She was president of the West Falmouth American Baptist Women for 10 years. She also served as the chairperson of the Missionary Society, as well as being a member of the West Falmouth Extension and Eastern Star. She is survived by five daughters, Sharon Eppler and her husband, Walter, of Green-field, Ind., Sandra Baima and her husband, Donald, of Shrew-sbury, Mass., Nancy Sweeney and her husband, Paul, of Whitman, Mass., Cynthia Neal of Scarborough, and Laura Cobb and her husband, Marlin, of Bolton, Mass. She leaves nine grandchildren, Eric Perron of Citrus Heights, Calif., Jason Perron of San Jose, Calif., Melissa and Christopher Baima of Shrewsbury, Mass., John Sweeney of Whitman, Mass., and Joshua, Jeremiah, Jesse and Jordan Cobb of Bolton, Mass.; and one great-grandson, Aiden Linquist of Graham, Wash; a brother-in-law, James, his wife Helen, and a nephew, James Jr. of San Antonio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services noon Wednesday, May 23, at West Falmouth Baptist Church, 18 Mountain Road, Falmouth. Viewing will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church and a reception will be held after the service. Interment will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 24, at Millinocket Cemetery, Millinocket.
