LITTLETON – Myrtle Williams, 77, died March 22, 2005, at Houlton. She was born July 28, 1927, in Monticello, the daughter of Walter and Ellen (Miller) Tingley. Myrtle was a member of the Corner Stone Baptist Church and was a Friendly Home Toy salesperson for 33 years. Myrtle was affectionately known as the “Cake Lady.” She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Erlon Williams of Littleton; three daughters, Lee Ann Lord and her husband, Sherrill, of Houlton, Kathy Kimball and her husband, Bob, of Westbrook, Penny Guerra and her husband, Elson, of Machias; five granddaughters, Jessica Burton, Veronica Faulkingham, Andrea Burton, Erica McPherson, Amanda Guerra; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Faulkingham, Hannah Faulkingham, and Mallory Woodie; five sisters, Clara Russell, Vera Rockwell and her husband, Asa, Marion McKee, Connie Graham and her husband, Sandy, Dodie Smith and her husband, Shirley; four brothers, Maynard Tingley and his wife, Irene, Ernest Tingley and his wife, Evelyn, Lawrence Tingley and his wife, Julie, Virgil Tingley and his wife, Barbara; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by one daughter, Vicki Jean; four brothers, Merrill, Walter Jr., George and Louis. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2005, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Corner Stone Baptist Church with the Rev. Chester Ammons officiating. Spring interment will be in the Littleton Cemetery.
