BREWER – Nancy E. (Mutty) Dandaneau, 95, wife of the late Leonard Dandaneau, died Jan. 31, 2005, at a Bangor healthcare center. She was born May 18, 1909, in Brewer, the daughter of Joseph I. and Alice F. (Burke) Mutty. Nancy was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Brewer, where she was active for many years with the Altar Rosary Society and as a CCD teacher. Surviving are three children, Alyce Martin and her husband, James, of Holliston, Mass., Angela Hart and her husband, David, of Brewer and George Dandaneau and his wife, Jody, of Bangor; 10 grandchildren, Suzanne Raffalli, James Martin, Michelle Tiernan, Joseph Martin, Lucienne Moore, George Dandaneau Jr., Gabrielle Dandaneau, David “DJ” Hart, Anne-Marie DeRevere, and Matthew Hart; and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Danyell Dandaneau; three brothers, Raymond, Carl and James Mutty; and one sister, Mary Mutty. Family and friends may visit 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Kiley Funeral Home, 69 State St., Brewer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Brewer, with the Rev. Joel R. Cyr, pastor, celebrant.
