CALAIS – Nancy Frost, 73, died peacefully Dec. 30, 2005, at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, N.H., after a long illness. She was born May 23, 1932, in Beverly, Mass., to Randolph and Hester (Knowlton) Newton. She grew up and lived in Rockport, Mass., before moving to Aroostook County with her family in 1966. She had previously graduated from Westbrook Jr. College. In 1992, she moved to Calais where she has lived since. She is survived by her children, Janet McPhee of Calais, Peggy Frost of Hamilton, Ohio, Brian Frost and his wife, Becky, of San Diego, Calif. and Dean Frost and his wife, Lynn, of Litchfield, N.H. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Susan and Janelle Bernard of Calais, Devon McPhee of Calais, Parker and Benjamin Frost of San Diego, Calif. and Kristen and Erin Frost of Litchfield, N.H.; and one great-granddaughter, Amelia Bernard of Calais. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at the Calais Congregational Church.
