PATTEN – Herman C. Willett, 86, died Dec. 31, 2005, at Patten. He was born March 7, 1919, in Mount Chase, the son of John and Flossy Willett. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy (Bates) Willett of Patten; four children, Herbert and his wife, Verna, of Benedicta, Richard and his wife, Sonya, of Holden, June Robinson and her husband, Joe, of Benedicta and Karen Nason and her husband, Earl, of Crystal; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Carver of Mount Chase and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Clifford, Truman and Linwood; and three sisters, Mayvella, Edna and Bert. A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Patten Cemetery. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
