BANGOR and South Weymoth, Mass. – Nancy R. Elliott, mother of Benjamin Scott Elliott, passed away unexpectedly Nov. 25, 2006. Nancy was born April 13, 1960. She graduated from South Weymouth High School, South Weymouth, Mass., June 1978, and from the University of Maine – Orono, August 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in health and human services. She worked for Community Health and Counseling Services as an operations coordinator for crisis services. Nancy will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, loving sister and daughter, caring cousin and niece, and loyal friend. Nancy was predeceased by her beloved mother, Edna Florence Elliott. She is survived by her son, Benjamin Scott Elliott, the delight and love of her life. Nancy will be dearly missed by her father, John S. Elliott of Dennisport, Mass.; and her brother, Paul S. Elliott and his wife, Julie, of Port Angeles, Wash. Nancy’s aunts, uncles and cousins will mourn her loss. Nancy will be dearly missed by her close friends, Jill Perrone, Stephanie Hamlin and Laura Mackin of Brewer. Nancy’s family, friends and coworkers will miss her warmth, caring and loving nature, strength and determination. Local services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, Bangor. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, One Main St., Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
