SANFORD and WELLS Natalie A. Harton, 58, died at her daughter’s home in Sanford, April 17, 2004, following a brief illness. She was born July 23, 1945, in Bangor, a daughter of Reginald H. and Gladys M. (Grover) Williams and graduated from Bangor High School. Natalie came from Bangor to the Wells/Sanford area in 1979. Mrs. Harton was employed as a retail clerk with the Ames Department Store in Sanford until it’s closing in 2002. Mrs. Harton enjoyed reading, quilting, needlepoint and various other crafts such as knitting and crocheting. She loved walking on Wells beach and was an avid gardener. Natalie’s heart belonged to her children and grandchildren. She was very fond of her dog, Buddy and her cat, Mineau. Natalie was a member of the Quazy Quilters in Wells, and the Evergreen Quilters. She was a former member of the Elks No. 2738 Ladies Auxiliary and received the Ladies Elks of the year Award. She enjoyed her Tuesday night ceramic classes at Gabe’s Ceramics in Sanford. Survivors include her husband, Lucien Harton Jr. of Wells; three sons, Gregory and Danny Hutchinson of Sanford, Lucien Harton III of Wells; two daughters, Tracy Poisson and Cathy Wilmot of Sanford; one brother, Reginald Williams of Bangor; 14 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Marjorie Waldron. A memorial service will be held later in May. There will be no calling hours.
