PENOBSCOT – Natalie Dodge Hutchins, 75, died Jan. 12, 2006, at her residence. She was born Sept. 26, 1930, in Camden, the daughter of Sherman and Helen (Decker) Dodge. Natalie lived in Penobscot for more than 59 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was an avid Lighthouse collector and enjoyed feeding the birds. She also loved to cook and was well known for her famous whoopie pies. She is survived by her two daughters, Sally and Sue Hutchins of Penobscot; a sister, Joan Rolerson of Islesboro; two special grandchildren, Ryan and Eric and his wife, Erin, of Brooksville. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Berwyn Hutchins; a son, Timothy; her parents, and her brothers, Royce, Julian and Allan. She leaves many special nieces and nephews and friends. She will be sadly missed. Upon her request services will be private at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Islesboro, Maine.
