FRANKLIN – Nellie A. Gordon, 70, passed away April 5, 2008. She was born Oct. 7, 1937, in Lamoine, the daughter of Elvin and Phronett (Smith) Covey. She is survived by five children, two brothers, a sister, eight grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and one on the way, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceas-ed by her husband, Burnham; three sisters and a brother. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of her life 2-4 p.m. April 12 at Franklin Vets Club.
