BLUE HILL – Nellie L. Cook, wife of the late Harry Alberton Cook, died May 21, 2008, at a Blue Hill hospital. She was born in North Penobscot, the daughter of Julian and Annie (Gray) Burke. She is survived by one daughter, Gloria (Cook) Astbury and her husband, Clyde, of Blue Hill; a son, George of Brockton, Mass.; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and one special great-great-grandson, Cody Sweet. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Daniel Astbury; a son, Earl Cook; one brother, Percy Gray; and sister, Vesta Porter. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 23, at Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home, 215 Main St., Ellsworth. A funeral service will be celebrated 3 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at Ellsworth Assembly of God, Beechland Road, Ellsworth. Interment will be at Seaside Cemetery, Blue Hill.
