OAKFIELD – Nellie (Roach) Prince, 81, wife of the late Owen L. Pince Jr. died June 6, 2005, at Houlton. She was born Dec. 16, 1923, in Merrill, the daughter of James and Vera (Tozier) Roach. Nellie is survived by two sisters, Isabele McNelly of Houlton and Corris Ann Giggey of Orono; one brother, James Roach of Smyrna; and one sister-in-law, June Roach; five nieces, Pamela Giggey, Dawn Goodness, Janice Nye, Jeanie Cannon and Marsha Hipler; four nephews, Timothy Giggey, Dennis Roach, Stephen McNelly and Brian McNelly; two stepdaughters, Mary (Prince) Elliott (Richard) and Nancy (Prince) Kovach (Robert); three grandchildren, Tori, Matthew and Melissa; and one great-granddaughter, Jordyn. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, grandmother, one brother, Eugene; and one nephew, Robbie McNelly. Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, at the Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Kirby Rushton officiating. Interment will be in the Oakfield Cemetery.
